Change to the Tuesday Venue July 26th

This Tuesday, July 26, we are moving our meeting offsite to Rusti Silacci's barn on River Road in Chualar and we will move the start time to 5:45  pm to give everyone a chance to take the beautiful drive south.

Rusti's barn sits in a bucolic setting of row crops and vineyards between the Gabilan and Santa Lucia mountains.  Rusti was gracious enough to offer to host our first offsite meeting of President Cliff's year.

Steve Pacheco and Derek Johnson will be BBQing for us all.  We will have a no-host bar of wine, beer and a cocktails.

Our offsite meetings are a chance for us to raise some money for our club's general fund while enjoying each other's company in a different, less formal setting.

This would be a great time for all of you to bring a guest.  Rusti's barn is large and can certainly accommodate all 76 members and their guests.  It would be great to see you all there.

We would like to get a head count for the meeting so we can purchase the right amount of food.  If each of you could RSVP to me by email or by text at 831-594-0884, before Monday at noon, that would be appreciated.

Take care everyone and I really hope to see you all there.  I have attached directions to Rusti's barn so you can print them out.  She does not suggest using Mapquest or GPS as it "gets everyone lost."

No-host cocktails at 6:00 followed by dinner and dancing (and perhaps a bit of roasted President!)

Santa Lucia has joined up for a really important event. We are going to be walking around, enjoying music and games, hanging out with a great community of people, all while making a difference in the fight against cancer.

Our club is supporting the American Cancer Society and participating in Relay For Life®. We would love for you to join our team of walkers, support staff or sponsors. Every Relay For Life event is a time for family and friends to honor cancer survivors, remember those lost to this disease, and raise funds and awareness to help end cancer forever.

Club News

Meeting Changes
A reminder that due to increases in food and use of the space at Giorgio’s, our club needs to raise meeting fees to $18 per week per member.  Your board also voted to require a minimum attendance by active members of two meetings per month.  This helps everyone stay abreast of our community events and commitments.  It also helps the club guarantee to Giorgio’s for a certain level of attendance and meet our financial obligations to the restaurant.  If you are unable to attend at least two meetings per month, please note that you will be automatically invoiced at the end of the month.  You may pay at the door for the other meetings held during the month.

Speakers for the Club Meetings
If you have ideas for speakers for our club meetings, please contact Brinet Greenlee.  She will suggest meeting dates for you to invite your speaker.
